Plastic Surgery

With the dawn of each New Year we can regularly expect new statistics to emerge showing a rise in the numbers of people deciding to undergo cosmetic surgery of some kind. But these statistics tend to show other interesting things at work; not only are more people in general deciding to place their trust in the hands of a cosmetic surgeon – there has also been a rise in the amount of men deciding on a range of procedures.

Whilst there are procedure we associate with women such as breast enlargement, breast reduction and others, men have been getting in on the action with the likes of liposuction, rhinoplasty and male breast reduction (after breasts might have grown due to a condition known as gynaecomastia).

But there are a range of plastic surgery procedures out there, ranging from other well known and oft-documented forms such as facelifts, tummy tucks, breast uplift and breast implants, to lesser known kinds such as blepharoplasty. This is also known as eyelid surgery and involves removing blemishes from the eyes such as bags and crows’ feet.

There is a lot to consider when thinking of undergoing cosmetic surgery, making the decision making process a very important part of field.
